Super Mario Bros 2 Main Menu
Super Mario Bros. 2
Started off as a prototype to follow Super Mario Bros and was originally scrapped because it was "technically" too difficult to produce for the NES. Since it was already in development, it was turned into Yume Kojo: Doki Doki Panic for Famicom Disk System. The theme was then changed to fit the mascots of the Fuji Television. After realizing Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels was too difficult to play, it redeveloped Yume Kojo: Doki Doki Panic back into a Super Mario Bros themed game.
-First time Luigi and Mario had noticeably different heights.
-You can play four characters from the Mushroom Kingdom: Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Toad
-No enemies can be defeated by jumping on their head
